Choro das Aguas - Ivan Lins, Ryan Keberle

Listen to this week's show This week on Caminhos do Jazz, we wish--belatedly--feliz aniversário to Ivan Lins , the celebrated Brazilian songwriter and singer-pianist who turned 80 on June 16, 2025, and to trombonist-arranger Ryan Keberle , who shares the same birthday. Keberle  and his Collectiv do Brasil ensemble  have just released an album in tribute to Lins , entitled Choro das Aguas (Alternate Side, 2025), which features pianist-arranger Felipe Silveira , bassist Felipe Brisola and drummer Paulinho Vicente .
