Rene Saenz is a mainstay in the San Antonio music scene and one of the most sought after saxophonists throughout Texas and beyond.  A world class musician, Rene has shared the stage with such notable jazz artists as Count Basie, Bennie Goodman, Mel Tormé, John Faddis, Wynton Marsalis, David Liebman, Eddie Daniels, Paquito D'Rivera, Tito Puente, Arthur Blythe, Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker, and was recently featured in concert with the legendary jazz drummer Tootie Heath. Whether recording in the studio or performing “live” in concert at jazz clubs and festivals, his sophisticated and thought-provoking style on both saxophone and flute continues to entertain and inspire musicians and audiences everywhere.
